Stay Close Honey

We came across this Hyena at the edge of the road and didn't realise she was nursing a young cub. But then he peaked up at us. What followed was half an hour of happy photography as the cub tried to chase us away. We left after the mum started to get annoyed as more cars stopped for a look. Apparently, cubs are very aggressive in the first few weeks of life, often chasing off weaker cubs and predators! They look cute but are born with all their teeth!
